Laura Taylor

Laura Taylor www.taylormadelibraries.co.uk worked throughout her 35 year career as a librarian in secondary schools and school library services in London. During this time she was a member of the SLG national committee and an SSAT lead Practitioner and consultant for Academy libraries. Recently she has returned from a two year contract setting up and developing the primary and senior libraries in an international school in Singapore. Currently she works on a part-time basis in Tower Hamlets across two primary schools and one secondary school. She combines this with offering support, guidance and advice to new school librarians as well as assisting primary and secondary schools develop their school libraries. Laura has also recently written a new guideline for the SLA “New beginnings: a practical guide to taking charge of a secondary school library”
