Westbourne House is a day and boarding independent school with over 350 pupils, situated just to the east of Chichester in beautiful grounds of over 100 acres. The school is a kind, happy and supportive environment. 

The Role

We are looking to appoint a passionate and self-motivated School Librarian. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is keen to encourage and facilitate a love of reading. You will work closely with the English department to maximise engagement with library resources. There will also be the opportunity to get involved in arranging events such author visits.

The successful candidate will have a broad knowledge of children’s literature. Experience of working in a similar environment would be advantageous, as would sound knowledge of using a library management system. 

This will be a part time, term time only role, working 10am – 2pm, Monday to Friday. 

The salary for this role is £10,784.26 per annum.

Start date: September 2024
