Library Display Competition

In conjunction with Softlink a new chance has opened to submit entries to our Display competition for schools who would like to send us photos of the amazing displays that promote your school libraries. Entries will be judged by Softlink and a voucher awarded to the winning entry. The next competition is open now and entries will be judged and announced in our and Softlink's newsletter, with a closing date of 11th April 2025.

Please submit your pictures of recent displays via the Airtable form. Maximum of 3 pictures per quarter in jpeg or png format. Please avoid a word document.

We all love a great display, and although they look relatively simple, having prepared displays, we all know they take twice as long we think they are going to do. So if you see a great show on someone else’s wall which you know would go down well in your school, don’t be afraid of recreating it yourself. It will be unique to you so you are not ‘cheating’. Use this page as inspiration and enter next time round!

“The quality of the displays and level of creativity exhibited by the school librarians producing them is truly inspiring. We’re very proud to support this great competition and the role of the library in school wide success.” Barney Jenkins, Director, Business Development and Operations, Softlink UK

"The World Belongs To Those Who Read," left students in awe and inspired them to dive into the joys of reading.
