SLG - The School Libraries Group (SLG) is committed to enabling its members to achieve and maintain the highest professional standards, and encouraging and supporting them in the delivery and promotion of high quality library and information services responsive to the needs of users.  

YLG - The Youth Libraries Group (YLG) promotes excellence in children and young people's literature by co-organising (with CILIP), judging and publicising the most prestigious children's book award in the UK - the Yoto Carnegie Medals for Writing and Illustration.
