Trainer: Ellie Gilbert

From being reliant on public libraries as a child, to spending four years as a School Librarian, working toward ensuring all children had the same life chances, through the gift of reading, Ellie has an invested interest in the role of libraries in addressing social justice. Over the last two years Ellie took this further and re-joined Inspire: Culture, Learning and Libraries as their Village Hubs Project Worker for the Library Improvement Fund Project, assessing our library offer to ensure the libraries provide a needs-based service and are at the heart of their communities and she now works as a part of Inspire’s Libraries and Culture Team as an NPO Librarian.
