Recent Training

 

Spring 2025 Network meeting
This was held at Queen Elizabeth's Hospital School on 21st January 2025.

The BTBA, running annually since 2018 with the help of a committee of school librarians across Bristol and the SLA West of England Branch, aims to celebrate writing for young people and promote reading for pleasure.
Suggested readership is Year 9 and above.

Students who read the shortlist had the opportunity to vote for their preferred winner and attend the Awards Ceremony with some of the authors at Clifton College on Thursday 13th February 2025.

2024 AGM took place on 13th November

 

Branch feedback from The Bristol Teen Book Award which took place on  7th February 2024

The BTBA 6th award ceremony went ahead at Orchard school on 7th Feb and was a really successful event.  Four authors attended and we had the very entertaining Caleb Parkin hosting.

Thank you very much to our sponsors Clifton College and Badminton School to enable this event to be so successful.
